Sakeena Online is a family and psychological guidance platform built around deep spiritual values and modern self-development principles. It brings together a team of self-development enthusiasts, specialists in Islamic sciences, and people who have personally walked through their own healing journeys.
The website was created as a warm, calm space for parents, young adults, and individuals dealing with emotional and psychological struggles that can be improved without medication whenever possible. Through articles, inspiring stories, and practical guidance, Sakeena Online promotes a culture of gentle, self-led healing that speaks the language of today while staying rooted in timeless values.
The platform focuses on easing emotional burdens, strengthening family and social relationships, and offering readers a safe place to reflect, grow, and reconnect with themselves. Every piece of content is designed to be accessible, relatable, and supportive for Arabic-speaking readers who are looking for both clarity of mind and peace of heart.
One of the first challenges in this project was structuring the content in a way that felt natural and easy to navigate. Sakeena Online hosts a wide range of materials – articles, stories, tests, and different guidance topics – and organizing all of this into clear sections without overwhelming the visitor required careful planning and multiple iterations.
From a technical side, working with a relatively large WordPress website brought its own difficulties. We had to balance design, content, security, and performance, making sure the website stayed stable, fast, and reliable while still being flexible enough to grow with future content.
Another key challenge was engagement. Many of the articles and topics in Sakeena Online are deep and long-form by nature, which can be hard for some readers to stay with until the end. To address this, we started exploring different content formats and ideas that could be introduced gradually – such as short videos, breaking topics into smaller connected parts, and creating smoother links between related pieces of content to make the reading experience lighter and more intuitive.
The personality tests were also a demanding part of the project. Because they are designed to be professional and meaningful, they needed a lot of research, precise question selection, and continuous back-and-forth collaboration with the client. Each test had to be long enough to be accurate, but still clear, focused, and aligned with the emotional and spiritual goals of the platform.
Because Sakeena Online carries a large amount of sensitive and meaningful content, we started the project with many discussions focused on structure and clarity. Before any development began, we designed the full website layout from scratch, testing different ways to group articles, stories, and sections. The structure was revised several times until it became easier to understand for visitors and more practical for long-term content growth.
We treated the user journey as a continuous, living process rather than a one-time decision. After launch, we actively monitored real user behavior through tools like Microsoft Clarity and other analytics platforms, then used the insights to refine navigation, adjust sections, and improve small interaction details. This helped us create a smoother experience for people who might already feel emotionally heavy when they arrive at the website.
On the design and technical side, the interface was built from the ground up with a strong focus on simplicity and usability first, and aesthetics within reasonable, calm limits. We optimized images and assets to keep the website as fast as possible, and we regularly review the security and technical health of the platform to make sure it remains stable, safe, and ready to grow.
To increase engagement with deep, long-form topics, we proposed a content strategy that introduces different formats over time. This includes experimenting with shorter videos, breaking complex subjects into connected parts, and linking related pieces in a way that feels natural for the reader. The goal is to keep visitors gently moving through the content without feeling overwhelmed.
For the professional personality tests, our role went beyond simple integration. We helped shape the way the tests look and feel, the flow of the experience, and how results are displayed to users. While the client provided the core ideas and psychological direction, we translated these ideas into a clear, guided testing journey – from starting the test, to answering the questions, to understanding the final result – refining and developing the concept together to make sure it truly serves the purpose of self-knowledge and healing.
