Payment Terms and Methods

 

Accepted Payment Methods

Khetta Business Digitization accepts the following payment methods for all services:

  1. 🏦 Bank Transfer – Direct bank transfers to our business account
  2. 💳 Benefit Pay Transfer – Secure electronic transfers via Benefit Pay
  3. 📄 Bank Cheques – Business cheques payable to Khetta Business Digitization

 

⚠️ IMPORTANT: We do not accept cash payments under any circumstances

 

Payment Schedule

  • Upfront Payment: A percentage of the total project cost is required before work begins. The specific amount will be outlined in your service agreement.
  • Milestone Payments: For larger projects, payments may be scheduled based on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion and delivery of all agreed deliverables.

Payment Terms

  • All payments must be made in Bahraini Dinars (BHD) unless otherwise agreed
  • Invoices are payable within 7 days of receipt unless otherwise specified
  • Late payment charges may apply for overdue invoices
  • Work may be suspended for accounts in arrears
  • All bank charges and transaction fees are the responsibility of the client

Refund and Cancellation Policy

 

⚠️ IMPORTANT REFUND POLICY

No refunds will be provided once the project officially begins and upfront payment is received. For ongoing service contracts, clients may cancel by providing 30 days written notice to [email protected]. No refunds apply to work already completed or services already rendered.

Cancellation Procedures

  • Project Cancellation: Once a project has officially started and upfront payment received, no cancellations or refunds are permitted
  • Ongoing Services: For subscription-based or ongoing services, clients must provide 30 days written notice via email to [email protected]
  • Completed Work: No refunds are provided for work that has already been completed or delivered
  • Service Modifications: Changes to project scope may result in additional charges and will not qualify for refunds

Please Note: This policy protects both Khetta and our clients by ensuring clear expectations. We encourage thorough discussion of all project requirements before commencement to avoid any misunderstandings.

Project Timelines and Deliverables

 

Timeline Commitments

Project timelines are established based on the scope of work and client requirements. All timelines are estimates and may be subject to adjustment due to:

  • Changes in project scope or requirements
  • Delays in client feedback or approval
  • Unavailability of required resources or information from the client
  • Technical complications or unforeseen challenges
  • External factors beyond Khetta’s control

Deliverables

  • Digital Delivery: All deliverables are provided digitally via email, cloud storage, or secure file transfer unless otherwise specified
  • Delivery Format: Deliverables will be provided in commonly accepted formats appropriate to each service type
  • Revisions: A specified number of revisions are included in each service package. Additional revisions may incur extra charges

Intellectual Property Rights

 

Client Ownership

Upon full payment of all fees, clients receive ownership rights to the final deliverables specifically created for their project. This includes:

  • Custom website designs and code
  • Original content and copywriting
  • Custom graphics and design elements created specifically for the client
  • Project-specific documentation and materials

Khetta’s Retained Rights

Khetta Business Digitization retains rights to:

  • General methodologies, processes, and business practices
  • Pre-existing tools, templates, and frameworks
  • Use completed projects as portfolio examples (with client permission)
  • General knowledge and expertise gained during the project

Third-Party Components

Important: Some projects may incorporate third-party components, templates, or tools subject to their own licensing terms. Clients are responsible for compliance with such licenses.

Client Responsibilities and Obligations

To ensure successful project completion, clients are responsible for:

  • Timely Communication: Providing prompt responses to requests for information, feedback, or approvals
  • Content Provision: Supplying all necessary content, images, and materials in appropriate formats
  • Access Credentials: Providing necessary login credentials and system access when required
  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring all provided content complies with applicable laws and regulations
  • Payment Obligations: Making all payments according to the agreed schedule
  • Feedback and Approvals: Providing clear, constructive feedback within reasonable timeframes
  • Domain and Hosting: Maintaining active domain registration and hosting services as required

Client Delays: Delays caused by client non-responsiveness or failure to provide required materials may result in project timeline extensions and potential additional charges.

Service Limitations and Disclaimers

 

Service Limitations

While Khetta Business Digitization strives for excellence, the following limitations apply:

  • Performance Guarantees: We cannot guarantee specific results such as search engine rankings, website traffic, or conversion rates
  • Third-Party Dependencies: Services dependent on third-party platforms or systems are subject to their availability and policies
  • Technology Changes: Rapid technology changes may affect long-term compatibility or performance
  • Browser Compatibility: Websites are tested on major modern browsers; legacy browser support may be limited

Liability Limitations

Limitation of Liability: Khetta Business Digitization’s total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Force Majeure

Khetta is not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or other force majeure events.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

 

Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of any disputes or disagreements:

  1. Direct Communication: Parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication
  2. Mediation: If direct communication fails, disputes may be referred to professional mediation
  3. Legal Proceedings: As a last resort, disputes will be resolved through the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate courts of Bahrain.

Compliance

These terms comply with:

  • Kingdom of Bahrain Commercial Law
  • E-commerce regulations set by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce
  • Data protection and privacy laws of Bahrain
  • International best practices for service agreements

Modifications and Updates

Khetta Business Digitization reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When significant changes are made:

  • Existing clients will be notified via email
